The process that I follow is to sit with the client and engage in a discussion about the general state of mind and body in the moment. Next, I have the client relax on the treatment table, fully clothed and under a sheet/blanket. I provide an eye pad to assist in closing your eyes which adds to the relaxation process. Beginning at the top of the head, I lay my hands on various areas along the body’s energy meridian/chakras. Reiki is a channeling of healing, loving energy through me to you. At times you may experience sensations such as seeing colors or images, you may feel tingling, warmth or pressure as energy is pushed or dispersed. There should never be any pain or discomfort. Should at any time something become uncomfortable you can let me know right away. This should be a relaxing and deeply healing process and I want you to feel that way from beginning to end.
